Opinions: Okay, I'm a huge Damon Albarn fan. I loved Blur, and when he announced and released Gorillaz, I was there from the start. So for the most essential part of my life growing up (becoming a teenager... aka the pre-teen years), they and Daft Punk were my heroes. Their music really helped. For a while, I considered this, and Digital Love, my theme songs. Shows how messed up I was back then.

opinions: Digital Love has always held a high place in my heart. (Maybe because it makes me thing of T-Bang and that's always a good thing.) However, it only got more special and cuter when Interstella was released. Shep and Stella in this section of the movie absolutely stole my heart. So when I stumbled upon this song on my 28DoL list, I knew it would be better if I used the original video and just sang over that.

The lyrics are depressing yet happy at the same time, and the bouncy, awesome mood that the horns and strings bring to the song re-inforce that this song about war is in fact a love song.
